2010 Summer Camp Info
We are so excited about our 2010 summer intensive and we know that this year will be the best year ever with the best staff from all over the United States teaching amazing master classes. Here is some basic information for all dancers dancing in our summer intensive. Feel free to email me at stephc5678@aol.com if you have any further questions.
To all in group A,B,C, D & E
Check In- We will be holding registration on Monday July 612h from 7:15am-8:00am for those in level B,C, D, & E. Registration for Camp A will be 9:30-10:00. Keep in mind openings for levels will be taken on a first come first serve basis.. During this time you will pick up your packet, schedule, wristband, t-shirt, and pay the balance due on summer intensive. (no one will be allowed to start classes unless the balance is paid in full, No EXCEPTIONS)
Lunch- Dancers should bring their lunch each day and a few snacks. Parents are allowed to drop off lunch to dancers at the designated lunch time. Camp A and Camp B will eat lunch in room 6. Camp C can eat anywhere inside the building. Camp D & E is allowed to eat anywhere as long as they pick up any trash.
Wristbands- Upon registering each dancer will have a wristband for the appropriate level they are in. This wristband must be worn all 4 days and will help us with keeping everyone grouped and in the right classes.
Trying out for company- Those that are trying out for DC 2010-2011 competition groups must fill out the tryout form and those dancers will wear a number every class of summer camp.
What to bring- Other than lunch, snacks, water, the following groups need the following
Camp A- Any dance clothes are allowed for all Camp A classes. Dancers should bring Jazz shoes, Ballet shoes, Tap shoes, and tennis shoes for Hiphop and proper hiphop clothes to throw on over dance clothes. Camp A should keep their bags up against the wall in room 6..
Camp B- Any dance clothes are allowed for jazz, tap, etc classes but pink tights and solid colored leotard is required for ballet, hair in a bun. Hip hop clothes are needed and tennis shoes for hiphop to throw on over dance clothes. Camp B should bring, jazz, ballet, tap, and tennis shoes. Camp B should keep all bags in room 6 up against the wall.
Camp C- Any dance clothes are allowed for jazz, tap, etc classes but pink tights and a solid colored leotard is required for ballet, hair in a bun. Hip hop clothes and tennis shoes for hiphop are also needed to throw on over dance clothes. Camp C can also bring heels or ballroom shoes for ballroom class but it is not required. All of Camp C should keep bags in Room 5. Other shoes needed:tap shoes, ballet shoes, jazz shoes/foot undeez.
Camp D & E- Any dance clothes are allowed for jazz, tap, lyrical, etc. But Pink tights and black leotard are required for ballet every day and hair in a bun. Hip hop clothes and tennis shoes for hip hop are needed to throw on over dance clothes. Camp D/E can also bring heels or ballroom shoes for ballroom class but it is not required. All of Camp D should keep bags in dressing room or room 5. Other shoes needed:tap shoes, ballet shoes, jazz shoes/foot undeez.
